Some fun facts about Geodog74:

He found his first geocache with his kids on October 8, 2017.

His oldest daughter was introduced to the hobby through her sixth grade teacher, and she shared the hobby with him. The family rarely joins him Geocaching anymore due to his somewhat extreme nature!

With over 1000 Unknown/Mystery hides to his name it most certainly is his favorite cache type. Specifically, he falls under the Unknow/Mystery subcategory of Challenge Cache. He is a certified Challenge Cache freak with 148 Challenges logged. He currently owns five Challenge Caches near his town of Evergreen: GC9WM0Y, GC9XF57, GCA0A26, GCA1MCC, and GCA1YN8. He recently published a Letterbox GCA4G0A based upon the favorite cache type question.  Also, anytime he can incorporate Geocaching with Fly Fishing, Skiing, Hiking or Camping, he’s a happy boy.

Initially Geodog74 geocached to get outside on long walks with his dog and find new places and interesting things associated with the hobby. Now it’s the comradery he experiences with his local community either through events or caching with friends.

His favorite quote “So Many Caches, So Little Time!”, comes from his good friend and local caching legend Greasepot.

If Geodog74 could tell GC HQ one thing it would be “Why in the heck are there only two seasons for CITO?? In my opinion since HQ is basically handing out Souvenirs these days, why not have three Seasons of CITO which span the entire calendar year. Lord knows there is always trash to be picked up!”
